  1. Press the Settings button, and next select the Accounts & Sync option in the list

  1. In the next window you will see a list of configured accounts.  If there are no existing accounts on the device the list will be blank.  Select Add Account.

  1. In the list of available account types select the Exchange Active Sync account type.

  1. In the account assistant screen click Manual Setup.  In the next screen enter your;
    1. Domain - the part after the @ in your email address
    2. Username – your full email address, i.e. user@domain.com
    3. Password – your current password – it is recommended you change it from the default assigned password.
    4. Server – the server address as assigned to you.  This will take the form of ‘mx[number].geekbox.co.uk, for example ‘mx1.geekbox.co.uk’.
    5. Leave the 2 check boxes about SSL ticked.

  1. The ActiveSync protocol can control several security features of your Android device. In order to allow access to these security features (for example the Remote Wipe feature) confirm following dialog. When confirmed, you can configure some basic account synchronization options. If it is your default email account, it is recommended to enable Send email from this account by default option. Click Next.

  1. That finishes the email account set up and you can now configure the account name for easy reference. Click Done to finish the account configuration. When the account configuration is confirmed, the configuration wizard asks you to activate several security features (these were previously confirmed during the account configuration). Select the Activate button.

  1. You successfully configured your Android device to receive emails, calendars and contacts from your GeekBox Exchange account. To fine-tune your default settings, you can navigate to account options.
